Useful in CMT cases? by Hamied Haroon [Comment posted 2009-01-14 10:17:52] Could this be used in people who have peripheral neuropathy, like Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease? CMT involves insufficient signals from the central nervous system reaching muscles in the limbs and therefore the muscles atrophy causing physical disability. FES seemed to be able to rebuild neuro network by Dr Cheng [Comment posted 2009-01-06 15:59:00] I have a friend had the injury on spiral core due to the accident when he was boating. This FES would certainly help people like him a lot and regain new life. |
