Top 15 US Institutions Map

Thanks for the bringing the misplaced photo to our attention. We seem to have had a glitch in our system that listed Genentech as both No. 6 and No. 7. This, in turn, affected the map graphic, in which the photo for Fox Chase Cancer (No.7) was labeled as Genentech. We've corrected the listing, and updated the Fox Chase photo in the process. The Scientist regrets the error.

I clicked on the various arrows denoting the top 15 institutes considered to be the best places to work by postdocs.

I noted that institute 7--Genentech in South San Francisco--looks identical to the backyard of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in Research Triangle Park, NC. The photograph seems to have been taken on the U.S. E.P.A. side of the pond that separates these two government laboratories.
